Trailer For 'Flirting Scholar 2'

The trailer has been released for 'Flirting Scholar 2', a new prequel to Stephen Chow's 1993 period comedy. Directed by Lee Lik Chi, the film sees Huang Xiaoming taking over the role of Tong Pak Fu who is still looking to escape his scholarly lifestyle and settle down with the woman of his dreams.

Synopsis

Tong Pak Fu was sent to a monastery when he was little. During one of his 'secret' excursions with his friends, he bumps into Qian Qian (Zhang Jing Chu) and immediately falls in love with her. Unfortunately, Qian Qian is accused as a spider spirit. During her escape, she falls into a ravine, loses her memory and is given the name of Chau Heung by Madam Hua.

'Flirting Scholar 2' is due for release across China in July 2010.
