Trailer For 'Hi-Zai'

 

The trailer has been released for 'Hi-Zai', a new Japanese drama co-directed by Shuhei Fukunaga and Masahiro Izuo. The film tells three separate stories, all of which become intertwined after the characters cross paths at Depot Island, a popular hang-out in Mihama Chatan, Okinawa.

Synopsis

Set on Depot Island in Mihama, Chatan, Okinawa. A yakuza is ordered by his boss to kidnap Yuta, a person who reads people's fortunes using a mysterious power. A woman is then mistaken for Yuta by the yakuza and kidnapped. A couple gets excited about traveling. A female high school student gets teased by people wherever she goes. Each of these stories connects through Depot Island.

'Hi-Zai' stars Motoki Ochiai, Rie Tomosaka, Motoki Fukami, and Sayaka Fukita. The film opens across Japan on the 1st September, 2012.
