Trailer For 'Love Lifting'

 

The trailer has been released for 'Love Lifting', a new Chinese sports drama from director Herman Yau. The film centres around a weightlifter (Elanne Kwong) who is forced to retire due to diabetes. However, after meeting her true love (Chapman To), she is encouraged to compete again.

Synopsis

A story about courage and love. Li, a weightlifter quits as she is suffering from diabetes. Li goes to Hong Kong to start a new life where she meets Yun. They fell in love, got married and enjoy a simple but happy family life. As the Olympic game approached, Li recalls her dream of being an Olympic champion, Yun convinces Li to take up weightlifting again. As Li starts intensively training, Yun is seriously injured in a traffic accident; he tells Yi his last wish before passing away. Yi is devoted to make Yun's wish come true...

'Love Lifting' is due for release across Hong Kong on the 8th March, 2012.
