Trailer For 'Permanent Nobara'
Â
The trailer has been released for 'Permanent Nobara', a live-action adapation of the popular manga series by Rieko Saibara. Directed by Daihachi Yoshida ('Funuke Show Some Love, You Losers!'), the film marks the first starring role for actress Miho Kanno since her appearance in 2002's 'Dolls'.
Synopsis
Naoko (Miho Kanno) returns to her village home with her daughter after going through a messy divorce. Her mother runs the only hair salon in the area for women, but the main reason they show up day after day is to discuss their most personal love woes in a quasi group confessional. With the support of the other women, they’re able to both laugh and cry about their situations while managing to look ahead even after they’ve been betrayed by the men in their lives. Meanwhile, Naoko rekindles a secret love affair with her high school teacher Kashima (Yosuke Eguchi).
'Permanent Nobara' will be released in Japan on the 22nd May, 2010.
