Trailer For 'Samurai Of The Night'

 

The trailer has been released for 'Samurai Of The Night' (AKA 'Sono Yoru no Samurai'), an upcoming Japanese drama directed by Masaaki Akahori. The film stars Masato Sakai as a man who loses his wife in a hit and run accident and decides to personally confront the culprit, played by Takayuki Yamada.

Synopsis

Kenichi Nakamura (Masato Sakai) runs a small ironworks, but since he lost his wife (Maki Sakai) in a hit and run car accident 5 years ago his life has become mundane. Meanwhile, Kijima (Takayuki Yamada), who committed the hit and run accident, finishes his prison term and is released from prison. As time passes, a threatening letter arrives for Kijima. People around Kenichi try to stop him, but on the anniversary of his wife's death these two people meet to confront each other.

'Samurai Of The Night' opens across Japan on the 17th November, 2012.
