Trailer For 'Strawberry Cliff'
The trailer has been released for 'Strawberry Cliff', a new thriller that marks the directorial debut of screenwriter Chris Chow ('Blood: The Last Vampire'). More than two years in the making, the film stars Leslie-Anne Huff and Eason Chan as a couple who discover the truth about life, death and love.
Synopsis
Teenager Kate (Leslie-Anne Huff) has a rare gift: she can tell when people will die, down to the precise hour and minute, just by looking at them. One day, she encounters Jason, who is supposed to die within hours, according to Kate’s premonition. They make a peculiar deal: if there is such a thing as “the Afterlife”, Jason promises to send Kate a message after his death. That night, as Kate predicted, Jason dies under mysterious circumstances. In the last moments of his life, Jason sees the vision of an ominous presence. Days later, a phone call from “the Afterlife” startles Kate, and sets her off on a journey from Los Angeles to Hong Kong, where she encounters Darren (Eason Chan), a bartender who suffers from an “incomplete soul”. Together, they embark on an adventure in search of the Afterlife and the identity of the ominous presence Jason witnessed. Unbeknownst to them, their quest leads to the most unexpected truth about life, death, and most important of all, love.
'Strawberry Cliff' opens across Hong Kong on the 1st December, 2011.
