Trailer For 'The Floating Castle'

 

The trailer has been released for 'The Floating Castle', an upcoming Japanese historical epic directed by Shinji Higuchi and Isshin Inudo. The film centres around a powerful daimyo who is forced to mount an attack on a floating fortress that stands in the way of his plans to create a unified Japan.

Synopsis

In the year 1590, powerful daimyo Toyotomi Hideyoshi nears his plan to unify all of Japan, but he comes across a floating fortress known as Oshi Castle. Narita Nagachika, in charge of defending the castle, must use his army of 500 men to combat Toyotomi Hideyoshi's army of 20,000.

'The Floating Castle' stars Mansai Nomura, Nana Eikura, Hiroki Narimiya, Tomomitsu Yamaguchi, Koichi Sato, Masachika Ichimura Takehiro Hira, Takayuki Yamada, and Yusuke Kamiji. The film opens across Japan on the 2nd November, 2012.
