Trailer For 'The Way - Man Of The White Porcelain'

 

The full trailer has been released for 'The Way - Man Of The White Porcelain', a new film based on the life of Takumi Asakawa - a Japanese man who entered Korea during Japan's occupation. Asakawa became captivated by the culture and championed the value of traditional white porcelain.

Synopsis

In 1914, a young Japanese man journeys to the Korean Peninsula, then under Japanese rule. Takumi Asakawa, a forestry expert who befriends living creatures and learns from nature, fights against injustice and persecution. The film depicts Asakawa’s love and respect for suffering Korean locals and his determination to protect traditional Korean crafts such as Hakuji (white porcelain), as well as showing his true friendship in Korea.

'The Way - Man Of The White Porcelain' stars Yu Yoshizawa and Bae Soo-Bin. The film will open across Korea and Japan on the 9th June, 2012.
