Trailer For 'Zombie 108'

 

The trailer has been released for 'Zombie 108' (AKA 'Z-108'), a new Taiwanese horror flick helmed by Joe Chien. The film revolves around a group of gangsters, policemen, and civilians who must band together to battle an army of the undead unleashed by the Japanese nuclear fallout.

Synopsis

The nuclear disaster suffered by Japan accidentally alters the genes of the influenza virus. A group of young people were infected but haven’t paid any attention to their illness, until one of them surprisingly bites a girl’s throat on a drunken night out. After a virus event, the government orders the quarantine of the sick and to evacuate all residents in the vicinity. Meanwhile, the army and the police join forces to form a team to enter the quarantined zone. However, those survivors suddenly become zombies that attack the living. In no time, the whole city is awash with bloodshed. People from all walks of life, including gangsters, policemen and civilians must to work together to seemingly escape, but in fact they have hidden schemes to compete with and even kill each other. The thing most tested when doomsday arrives, is the human mind...

'Zombie 108' stars Hsiang Rong, Tai Bao, and Yvonne Yao. The film is due to open across Taiwan in 2012.
