Blu-ray & 4K UHD release: ‘Come Drink With Me’

88 Films are bringing the 1966 Hong Kong wuxia film ‘Come Drink With Me’ (大醉俠) to US and UK Blu-ray and 4K UHD on August 25, 2025.
Co-written and directed by King Hu, the film follows a general’s daughter as she sets out to rescue her brother from a violent gang looking to secure the release of their leader. The cast includes Cheng Pei-Pei, Yueh Hua, Chen Hung-Lieh, Lee Wan-Chung, and Yeung Chi-Hing.
Synopsis: A fearless heroine… a kung-fu master in hiding… a seemingly invincible villain… The heroine is Golden Swallow (Cheng Pei-Pei). She’s been dispatched by her powerful father to rescue her brother, who’s been taken hostage by bandits. The kung-fu master is Fan Da-Pei; he may look like a drunken beggar, but he’s one of the best fighters around. Trouble is, the only man who can beat him is helping the bandits…
