Blu-ray & Digital release: ‘One-Percent Warrior’

Well Go USA are bringing the 2023 Japanese yakuza action comedy ‘One-Percent Warrior’ (1%er / One Percenter) to US Blu-ray and Digital on March 12, 2024.

Written and directed by Yudai Yamaguchi, the film revolves around a legendary, aging action film star who is drawn into the real world of violence when feuding yakuza gangs infiltrate the set of his directorial feature debut. The cast includes Tak Sakaguchi, Sho Aoyagi, Itsuji Itao, Kenjiro Ishimaru, and Keisuke Horibe.

Synopsis: After his devastatingly fast, samurai-style combat approach sets filmmakers against him, a legendary action star (Tak Sakaguchi) films his own movie—on turf claimed by feuding yakuza gangs, including Japan’s deadliest martial arts assassin.
