Blu-ray & Digital release: ‘The Prosecutor’

Signature Entertainment are bringing the 2024 Hong Kong action thriller ‘The Prosecutor’ (誤判) to UK Digital from today and to Blu-ray on June 23, 2025.
Directed by Donnie Yen and Mak Ho-Pong, the film revolves around a former detective-turned-prosecutor who decides to carry out his own investigation after a man is wrongfully accused of drug trafficking. The cast includes Donnie Yen, Julian Cheung, Michael Hui, Francis Ng, Zhang Tiantian, and Kent Cheng.
Synopsis: Inspired by an actual legal case in Hong Kong, ‘The Prosecutor’ follows the story of a man who falsely pleads guilty to drug trafficking after being framed. Despite the confession, the veteran policeman-turned-prosecutor handling the case is convinced of the man’s innocence and pursues his own investigation, risking both his career and his life to bring the real perpetrator to justice.
