Blu-ray & DVD release: ‘Anna Magdalena’

Panorama are bringing the 1998 Hong Kong romantic fantasy comedy ‘Anna Magdalena’ (安娜瑪德蓮娜) to Hong Kong Blu-ray and DVD on March 18, 2022.

Directed by Kenneth Yee Chung-Man, the film revolves around two young men who both find themselves falling for the woman staying upstairs. The cast includes Takeshi Kaneshiro, Aaron Kwok, Kelly Chen, Anita Yuen, and Josie Ho.

Synopsis: Scruffy but attractive Yau Muk-Yan (Aaron Kwok), without a job or a place to live, moves in with sensitive yet shy piano tuner Chan Kar-Fu (Takeshi Kaneshiro). Both are disturbed, then obsessed, by the amateurish piano playing of upstairs neighbour Mok Man-Yee (Kelly Chen). Obsession soon turns to romance, and romance to fantasy.
