Blu-ray & DVD release: ‘Gift From Heaven’

CN Entertainment are bringing the 1989 Hong Kong comedy ‘Gift From Heaven’ (打工狂想曲) to Hong Kong Blu-ray and DVD on April 9, 2020.
Directed by Andy Chin, the film follows three work colleagues who stumble upon a huge sum of money. The cast includes Carol Cheng, Joey Wong, Sandy Lam, Derek Yee, and Cheung Kwok-Keung.
Synopsis: Becky (Carol Cheng), Angie (Joey Wong) and Candy (Sandy Lam) are good friends who work at the same company. One day, they accidentally find a bag full of money at the company and take it back to Becky’s home. Though they don’t dare to use the stash just yet, they blow their own savings to celebrate. It turns out the money was meant to be used to pay off someone who is extorting the CEO. Since the culprit didn’t receive the payment, he exposes the CEO’s corruption, and the ICAC soon arrive at the company to investigate!
