Blu-ray & DVD release: ‘In Broad Daylight’

Universe Laser are bringing the 2023 Hong Kong drama ‘In Broad Daylight’ (白日之下) to Hong Kong Blu-ray and DVD on June 11, 2025.

Co-written and directed by Lawrence Kan, the film revolves around an undercover journalist who investigates the suspected abuse of patients at a local nursing home. The cast includes Jennifer Yu, Rachel Leung, Leung Chun-Hang, Tommy Chu, Bowie Lam, and David Chiang.

Synopsis: A news outlet receives a tip about the Rainbow Bridge Care Home for people with disabilities. Journalist Kay (Jennifer Yu) goes undercover into the home to investigate. What she uncovers is callous treatment and shocking abuses happening in broad daylight.
