Blu-ray release: ‘Battle Creek Brawl’

88 Films are bringing the 1980 Hong Kong-American martial arts action comedy ‘Battle Creek Brawl’ (The Big Brawl) to UK Blu-ray on October 9, 2023.
Directed by Robert Clouse, the film revolves around a young Asian-American martial artist who is forced to participate in a brutal formal street-fighting competition. The cast includes Jackie Chan, Jose Ferrer, Kristine DeBell, Mako, and Ron Max.
Synopsis: It’s 1930s Chicago, and young Chinese American martial arts expert Jerry Kwan (Jackie Chan) finds himself forced to compete in a no-holds-barred toughest man tournament. Only his cantankerous uncle (Mako) can prepare Jerry to fight and win against the mountainous Billy Kiss (H.B. Haggerty).
