Blu-ray release: ‘Detective Chinatown’

BayView Entertainment and China Lion are bringing the 2015 Chinese comedy-mystery ‘Detective Chinatown’ (唐人街探案) to US Blu-ray on November 14, 2023.
Directed by Chen Sicheng, the film follows a police academy reject who travels to Bangkok where he and an energetic distant relative must solve a murder case. The cast includes Wang Baoqiang, Liu Haoran, Tong Liya, Chen He, and Xiao Yang.
Synopsis: ‘Detective Chinatown’ follows Qin Feng and his second cousin, Tang Ren, Chinatown’s top detective, as they investigate a bizarre murder where they become the main suspects. When the only option is to escape from the police to prove their innocence, they find the world against them with just seven days to solve the case.
