Blu-ray release: ‘Disciples of Shaolin’

88 Films are bringing the 1975 Hong Kong martial arts film ‘Disciples of Shaolin’ (洪拳小子) to UK Blu-ray on September 27, 2021.

Directed by Chang Cheh, the film revolves around a Shaolin disciple who takes a job at a textile factory and gets wrapped up in a feud with a neighbouring mill. The cast includes Alexander Fu Sheng, Chi Kuan-Chun, Chen Ming-Li, Wang Ching-Ping, and Lu Ti.

Synopsis: When shaolin disciple Kuan Fung Yi (Sheng Fu) takes a job at a textile factory he soon becomes embroiled in a bitter and violent clash with the rival Manchu clan who run a neighbouring mill.
