By Phil Mills | Jul 3, 2025
Eureka Entertainment are bringing the 1987 Hong Kong crime thriller ‘Flaming Brothers’ (江湖龍虎鬥) to US and UK Blu-ray on September 15/16, 2025.
Directed by Joe Cheung, the film follows a pair of triad brothers determined to protect their criminal operation – and each other – no matter what the cost. The cast includes Alan Tang, Chow Yun-Fat, Pat Ha, Jenny Tseng, and Patrick Tse.
Synopsis: Both orphaned at a young age, Cheung Ho-tin (Chow Yun-Fat) and Chan Wai-lun (Alan Tang) grew up together on the streets, forming a strong bond in their childhood that remains unbroken as they become triad brothers in adulthood. Having recently opened a nightclub together, they begin to feel that they have finally made it. That is, at least, until they become embroiled in a conflict with the ruthless gangster Ko Lo-sei (Patrick Tse) and his right-hand man (Norman Chui), who threaten to take away everything that Tin and Lun have worked for.
