Eureka Entertainment are bringing the 1989 Hong Kong action movie ‘Lady Reporter’ (師姐大晒 / The Blonde Fury) to UK Blu-ray on June 26, 2023.
Directed by Mang Hoi, the film follows an American FBI agent who travels to Hong Kong to investigate a newspaper editor suspected of printing counterfeit money. The cast includes Cynthia Rothrock, Elizabeth Lee, Chin Siu-Ho, Mang Hoi, Ronny Yu, and Melvin Wong.
Synopsis: Cindy (Rothrock) is an American FBI agent who travels to Hong Kong to arrest a criminal newspaper editor, Ronny Dak (Ronny Yu) who prints counterfeit money using the newspaper’s presses. While investigating Dak’s crimes, Cindy hooks up with her old friend Judy Yu (Elizabeth Lee), an undercover cop (Chin Siu-ho), and an intrepid journalist (director Mang Hoi) to battle his kung-fu henchmen.
