Blu-ray release: ‘Odd Couple’

Eureka Entertainment are bringing the 1979 Hong Kong martial arts comedy ‘Odd Couple’ (搏命單刀奪命搶) to UK Blu-ray on March 21, 2022.
Directed by Lau Kar-Wing, the film revolves around two ageing weapon masters who agree to take apprentices to settle an old score. The cast includes Sammo Hung, Lau Kar-Wing, Leung Kar-Yan, Mars, Dean Shek, and Lam Ching-Ying.
Synopsis: Two ageing masters of the spear and sword engage in an epic mountaintop battle every ten years, but the outcome invariably ends in a draw. Realising that neither one of them will ever outclass the other, they each agree to take on a younger student and train them to champion their cause, thus putting an end to their longstanding rivalry.
