Blu-ray release: ‘She Shoots Straight’

Eureka Entertainment are bringing the 1990 Hong Kong action movie ‘She Shoots Straight’ (皇家女將) to UK Blu-ray on September 18, 2023.
Directed by Corey Yuen Kwai, the film revolves around a newlywed police officer who must battle a Vietnamese gang whilst also trying to impress her new in-laws. The cast includes Joyce Godenzi, Carina Lau, Sammo Hung, Tony Leung Ka-Fai, and Yuen Wah.
Synopsis: Inspector Mina (Joyce Godenzi) is a career-focused officer who has just married her supervisor (Tony Leung Ka-Fai), who himself comes from a family of dedicated police officers. Her new sisters-in-law (including Carina Lau) are a little jealous that Mina outranks them, but when a gang of violent Vietnamese criminals (led by Yuen Wah) target the family, the sisters unite into a lethal force of vengeance.
