Eureka Entertainment are bringing the 1968 Hong Kong martial arts movie ‘The Bells of Death’ (奪魂鈴) to UK Blu-ray on May 19, 2025.
Directed by Griffin Yueh Feng, the film revolves around a woodcutter who undertakes extensive martial arts training so that he can take revenge on the psychotic marauders who wiped out his family. The cast includes Chang Yi, Chin Ping, Chiu Sam-Yin, Lam Kau, and Tien Shun.
Synopsis: Wu Fei (Chang Yi) is a simple woodcutter – that is, at least, until he gives directions to a group of bandits he encounters on a lonely road, sending them in the direction of his family home. He returns to find the criminals have murdered his parents and younger brother – while his sister has been kidnapped, claimed by chief bandit Tao Ching Lung (Lam Kau) as his new bride. Desperate for vengeance, Wu Fei finds a way forward when he encounters a master swordsman (Yang Chi-Ching), who takes the woodcutter under his wing and prepares him to take his bloody revenge.
