Blu-ray release: ‘Witch From Nepal’

88 Films are bringing the 1986 Hong Kong supernatural action horror movie ‘Witch From Nepal’ (奇緣) to UK Blu-ray on June 23, 2025.

Directed by , the film revolves around a Hong Kong man who vacations to Nepal, where a local tribe imbues him with magical powers which he must use to fight a growing evil. The cast includes Chow Yun-Fat, Yammie Lam, Emily Chu, Dick Wei, and Ng Hong-Sang.

Synopsis: We follow Joe (Chow Yun-Fat) and Ida (Yammie Lam), a young couple who have decided to vacation in Nepal, but the locals instil within Joe incredibly strong, magical powers which he is forced to use to battle an ever-growing presence of evil and protect magical artefacts.
