Digital release: ‘Lucky Grandma’

Signature Entertainment are bringing the 2019 crime-comedy ‘Lucky Grandma’ to UK Digital on November 6, 2020.

Directed by Sasie Sealy, the film tells the story of a chain-smoking Chinese grandma who goes all in at the casino, landing herself on the wrong side of luck – and in the middle of a gang war. The cast includes Tsai Chin, Ha Hsiao-Yuan, Michael Tow, Woody Fu, and Yan Xi.

Synopsis: A cardigan clad, chain-smoking Chinese grandma goes all in at a casino but lands herself on the wrong side of luck and the law. Having gambled away more than just chips after stealing money from a dead criminal boss, ‘Grandma’ hires a rival gangland bodyguard to protect her from a band of violent crooks who are hot on her tail and ready to reclaim the loot.
