DVD release: ‘Cobra Kai – Seasons 1 & 2’

Sony Pictures Home Entertainment are bringing seasons 1 and 2 of the American action comedy-drama web series ‘Cobra Kai’ to US DVD on November 12, 2019.

Based on ‘The Karate Kid’ film series, the show takes place 34 years after the original movie and follows the reopening of the Cobra Kai karate dojo by Johnny Lawrence and the rekindling of his old rivalry with Daniel LaRusso. The cast includes William Zabka, Ralph Macchio, Xolo Maridueña, Courtney Henggeler, Tanner Buchanan, Mary Mouser, and Martin Kove.

Synopsis: Now living in the affluent hills of Encino, Daniel LaRusso (Ralph Macchio) leads an enviable life. Meanwhile, his high school adversary, Johnny Lawrence (William Zabka), has taken a rocky turn, but seeks redemption by reopening the infamous Cobra Kai karate dojo. Their lives inevitably become intertwined and the rivalry is reignited, setting forth the next generation of “karate kids.”
