DVD release: ‘Super Legend God Hikoza’

SRS Cinema are bringing the 2022 Japanese sci-fi comedy ‘Super Legend God Hikoza’ (超伝合体ゴッドヒコザ) to US DVD on August 15, 2023.

Co-written and directed by Minoru Kawasaki, the film follows a pair of scientists who discover a mecha emitting an alarm signal warning them that a giant, monster sturgeon is approaching. The cast includes Kyoka Isohara, Shota Minami, Ijiri Okada, Mitsuhiro Sano, Sara, and Yuya Sumikawa.

Synopsis: Tadao and Takaho are two scientists from an Ultra-spatial research center who discover a mecha emitting an alarm signal: a giant, monster sturgeon is approaching. This roller-coaster ride includes a love story, kaijus, mad scientists, and humanoid robots, all seasoned with big absurd humor and action packed battle scenes.
