DVD release: ‘Ultraman Nexus: The Complete Series’

Mill Creek Entertainment are bringing the 2004/2005 Japanese tokusatsu TV show ‘Ultraman Nexus’ (ウルトラマンネクサス) to US DVD on November 15, 2022.

The show, which is the 18th live-action Ultraman series, revolves around a member of a covert international anti-monster unit whose life is changed after he is saved by Ultraman. The cast includes Takuji Kawakubo, Yusuke Kirishima, Masato Uchiyama, Yasue Sato, Tamotsu Ishibashi, and Yasunori Masutani.

Synopsis: The TLT is a covert international anti-monster unit established secretly to combat Space Beasts, mysterious monsters that are out to attack humans in the year 2009. One of the TLT’s new recruits, Kazuki Komon, is attacked by one of them prior to reporting for duty. However, he is saved by a silver giant that he names “Ultraman”. What no one knows is that the silver giant is an Ultraman — to be precise, Ultraman Nexus, ready to fight the Space Beasts to save the planet Earth. [Source: Ultraman Wiki]
