Promo trailer: ‘Kung Fu Traveler’

The first promo trailer has been released for the new Chinese sci-fi actioner ‘Kung Fu Traveler’ (功夫机器侠).

Directed by Zhang Xianfeng, the film stars Tiger Chen as a futuristic General who accidentally travels back in time while trying to devise a way to defeat alien invaders. Other cast members include Wang Zhi, Ye Yunfei, Darren Grosvenor, and Svitlana Zavialova.

Synopsis: The aliens invade Earth. After a furious battle, the General (Tiger Chen) decides to send his robot back to the golden age of Kung Fu by a time machine so they can learn how to fight the aliens. Ziying Chen, who secretly loves the General wants to travel with the robot, however they accidentally go back to South China in the Qing Dynasty…

‘Kung Fu Traveler’ is due for release across China in February 2017.
