Teaser: ‘Confidential Assignment’

‘Confidential Assignment’ (공조) is a 2017 South Korean action thriller directed by Kim Sung-Hoon.

The film finds a pair of detectives from opposite sides of the DMZ forced to team up to bring down the boss of a North Korean refugee crime organisation. The cast includes Hyun Bin, Yu Hae-Jin, Kim Ju-Hyeok, Jang Young-Nam, Im Yoon-Ah, and Lee Hae-Young.

Synopsis: North Korean detective Im Chul-Ryung (Hyun-Bin) is sent to South Korea to catch Cha Ki-Sung (Kim Ju-Hyeok). Cha Ki-Sung is the boss of a North Korean refugee crime organisation. There, Im Chul-Ryung cooperates with South Korea detective Kang Jin-Tae (Yu Hae-Jin). For the first time, the two countries cooperate to take down a criminal.

‘Confidential Assignment’ opens across South Korea in January 2017.
