‘The Great Flood’ (대홍수) is a 2025 South Korean sci-fi disaster movie written and directed by Kim Byung-Woo.

The film follows two survivors trapped in a rapidly flooding apartment complex as a global deluge threatens humanity’s future. The cast includes Kim Da-Mi, Park Hae-Soo, Kim Kyu-Na, Kim Byung-Nam, and Lee Dong-Chan.

Synopsis: A catastrophic global flood engulfs the world, trapping researcher An Na and security officer Hee-jo inside a rapidly submerging apartment complex as civilisation collapses outside. With rising waters cutting off all escape and time running out, the two must fight to survive while protecting a mission vital to humanity’s future, confronting both the disaster and the secrets that brought them together.
