‘Where Nothing Grows’ (荒原) is a 2023 Chinese adventure-drama written and directed by Peter Zuo.
The film revolves around a pair of siblings who travel to the Gobi desert in search of their missing father and are hit by a heavy sandstorm. The cast includes Ren Suxi, Li Chen, Zhou Shen, and Wang Jing.
Synopsis: Lin Lin (Ren Suxi) and her brother Cong Lai (Li Chen) take another trip to the Gobi desert in search of their missing father. When a heavy sandstorm hits, Lai is wounded so he persuades Lin to head out alone in search of help. [© Far East Films]
