‘A Writer’s Odyssey 2’ (刺杀小说家2) is a 2025 Chinese action fantasy directed by Lu Yang.

The film follows a struggling novelist who succumbs to temptation, putting himself and his characters at risk, only to ultimately discover the resolve to save both his world and theirs. The cast includes Deng Chao, Dong Zijian, Lei Jiayin, Wang Shengdi, and Ding Chengxin.

Synopsis: Struggling novelist Lu Kongwen (Dong Zijian) succumbs to a powerful temptation, plunging both himself and his fictional characters into an inescapable crisis.
