‘Bakudan’ (爆弾) is a 2025 Japanese mystery thriller written and directed by Akira Nagai.
Based on a novel by Katsuhiro Go, the film follows a man arrested for assault who claims psychic visions, guiding police to stop bomb explosions in Tokyo while revealing his dark secrets. The cast includes Yuki Yamada, Sairi Ito, Shota Sometani, Ryota Bando, Kanichiro, and Atsuro Watabe.
Synopsis: Suzuki Tagosaku (Sato Jiro), arrested for assault, claims psychic visions of bombs across Tokyo. He pulls detective Ruisuke (Yuki Yamada) and Kiyamiya (Atsuro Watabe) into a tense game of riddles to stop the explosions. Meanwhile, patrolwoman Koda (Sairi Ito) and her partner Yabuki (Ryota Bando) frantically search the streets. Investigators Totoriki (Shota Sometani) and Isemiya (Kanichiro) work to unravel Suzuki’s eerie secrets. [© Far East Films]
