‘Decibel’ (데시벨) is a 2022 South Korean action drama co-written and directed by Hwang In-Ho.

The film revolves around a former navy commander who is targeted by a terrorist using special bombs that explode when nearby ambient sound surpasses 100 decibels. The cast includes Kim Rae-Won, Lee Jong-Suk, Cha Eun-Woo, Jung Sang-Hoon, and Park Byung-Eun.

Synopsis: A former navy commander (Kim Rae-Won) receives a phone call from an anonymous man. The caller states that he has set up bombs in locations filled with people, including a soccer stadium and a water park. The bombs are “sound bombs” that will detonate when nearby ambient sound surpasses 100 decibels. The former navy commander desperately tries to stop the terror attacks. [Source: AsianWiki]
