Trailer: ‘Dollhouse’

‘Dollhouse’ (ドールハウス) is a 2025 Japanese horror movie written and directed by Shinobu Yaguchi.

The film revolves around a couple who start experiencing strange events after purchasing a doll that looks just like their recently deceased daughter. The cast includes Masami Nagasawa, Koji Seto, Tetsushi Tanaka, Ken Yasuda, and Jun Fubuki.

Synopsis: Kae Suzuki (Masami Nagasawa) and her husband Tadahiko (Koji Seto) have lost their 5-year-old daughter, Mei. Kae is in a state of grief, but after discovering an adorable doll at an antique market that looks just like Mei, she begins to regain her strength. When Kae and Tadahiko have a new daughter, Mai, they stop caring about the doll. When Mai grows up to be five years old and starts playing with the doll, strange things start happening to the family one after another. [© Far East Films]
