‘Moonlight Sisters’ (但愿人长久 / Fate of the Moonlight) is a 2025 Chinese drama written and directed by Qin Tian.

The film follows the fates of three generations of women as they leave their hometowns and attempt to adapt to life in a big city. The cast includes Xu Haipeng, Lian Yajia, Hong Shihan, Yang Wen, and Zhang Changmin.

Synopsis: Chengdu, Double Ninth Festival. Xia Chan dreamt that she jumped off a tall building. In the noisy city, in a shabby illegal building, she seemed to only hear her own heartbeat and the life within her. Years later, on a summer day, she had undergone a transformation, continuing to drink and socialize as usual. A 12-year-old girl named Xia Xiaomang, holding her photo, came from afar. Xia Chan’s changing attitude left Xiaomang at a loss. It wasn’t until she met the recently adult girl Jiang Ai that she was shown another side of the city.
