‘Once We Were Us’ (만약에 우리) is a 2025 South Korean romantic drama directed by Kim Do-Young.

Based on the 2018 Chinese movie ‘Us and Them’, the film reunites two former lovers years later, testing whether their shared past can survive who they have become. The cast includes Koo Kyo-Hwan and Mun Ka-Young.

Synopsis: Two people who once believed their love would endure everything are unexpectedly brought back into each other’s lives after ten years apart, forcing them to confront the distance between who they were in the past and who they have become; as memories resurface and old emotions clash with present realities, they must decide whether what they shared was merely a moment defined by youth and circumstance, or a connection still capable of surviving regret, change, and the irreversible passage of time. ‘Once We Were Us’ opens across South Korea on December 31, 2025.
