‘One Day, You Will Reach The Sea’ (やがて海へと届く) is a 2022 Japanese drama written and directed by Ryutaro Nakagawa.

Based on the novel ‘Yagate Umi e to Todoku’ by Maru Ayase, the film follows a woman struggling to come to terms with the death of her best friend. The cast includes Yukino Kishii, Minami Hamabe, Yosuke Sugino, Haya Nakazaki, and Mayu Tsuruta.

Synopsis: Mana (Yukino Kishii) was friends with Sumire (Minami Hamabe) for years. She admired Sumire’s freewheeling ways and mysterious charm, but Sumire broke off connections with her.
