‘Onmyoji 0’ (陰陽師0 / Onmyoji Zero) is a 2024 Japanese fantasy action adventure written and directed by Shimako Sato.

Based on the ‘Onmyoji’ series of novels by Baku Yumemakura, the film revolves around a talented young onmyoji-in-training who is asked to help solve a strange phenomenon. The cast includes Kento Yamazaki, Shota Sometani, Nao, Masanobu Ando, and Nijiro Murakami.

Synopsis: Set in the Heian period, Seimei Abe (Kento Yamazaki) is a young student at Onmyoryo. The school raises students to become officials who protect the city from curses and evil spirits, known as onmyoji. Abe is well known as a genius in the field of magic but unlike his fellow students, he doesn’t have any interest in becoming an onmyoji. One day, he is asked by Noble Hiromasa Minamoto (Shota Sometani) to solve a strange phenomenon that hits royal family member Yoshiko (Nao).
