Trailer: ‘Peninsula’

By   |  Apr 2, 2020

‘Peninsula’ (반도) is a 2020 South Korean action horror film written and directed by Yeon Sang-Ho.

The film, which is a pseudo sequel to 2016’s ‘Train to Busan‘, takes place 4 years later and follows a group of soldiers who are sent to search for survivors on the Korean peninsula. The cast includes Gang Dong-Won, Lee Jung-Hyun, Lee Re, Kwon Hae-Hyo, and Kim Min-Jae.

Synopsis: Jung-seok, a soldier who previously escaped the diseased wasteland, relives the horror when assigned to a covert operation with two simple objectives: retrieve and survive. When his team unexpectedly stumbles upon survivors, their lives will depend on whether the best—or worst—of human nature prevails in the direst of circumstances.

‘Peninsula’ opens across South Korea in July 2020 and will be getting a North American release courtesy of Well Go USA.
