‘Red Wedding Dress’ (红嫁衣) is a 2025 Chinese horror movie written and directed by Xu Jun and Liu Mingliang.

Based on a variety of Chinese folk legends, the film revolves around the investigation into a series of bizarre deaths that occur in a house where a family was murdered. The cast includes He Yuchen, Yuen Cheung-Yan, Zhang Bonan, Zhu Jiazhen, and Zhang Chenbin.

Synopsis: A series of bizarre deaths caused by a red wedding dress occur in a small town in the south of the Yangtze River during the Republic of China period. The Liu family is a well-known local merchant. A group of bandits took over the Liu family’s property, impersonated them to commit fraud, and murdered all the family members. Since then, bizarre events have frequently occurred in the Liu family’s house. [© Far East Films]
