‘Silent Parade’ (沈黙のパレード) is a 2022 Japanese mystery drama directed by Hiroshi Nishitani.

Based on the novel ‘Chinmoku no Parade’ by Keigo Higashino, the film revolves around the investigation into a recently deceased man who was suspected of two murders. The cast includes Masaharu Fukuyama, Kou Shibasaki, Kazuki Kitamura, Kazuki Iio, Naho Toda, and Hiromasa Taguchi.

Synopsis: Physicist Manabu Yukawa (Masaharu Fukuyama) returns to Japan from America. Detective Kaoru Utsumi (Kou Shibasaki) visits him to talk about a case involving a popular girl in a town who disappeared and, several years later, her body was found. A suspect was identified due to his involvement in another girl’s murder, but he was released due to a lack of evidence. Detective Shunpei Kusanagi (Kazuki Kitamura) investigated the prior murder case. The same suspect was then released due to a lack of evidence for the most recent murder case and returned to his town, where everybody hated him. On the day of the autumn festival parade, the man was killed. Yukawa, Utsumi and Kusanagi all decide to work together on his case. [Source: AsianWiki]
