‘Sons of the Neon Night’ (風林火山) is a 2025 Hong Kong crime thriller written and directed by Juno Mak.

The film portrays a snowy Hong Kong night of gunfire and chaos as drug lords, assassins, and police clash, until the kingpins mysteriously ban drugs. The cast includes Takeshi Kaneshiro, Lau Ching-Wan, Tony Leung Ka-Fai, Louis Koo, and Gao Yuanyuan.

Synopsis: On a snowy Hong Kong night, gunfire tears through the streets, blood flowing freely, while a hospital explosion lights up the sky with screams echoing. This isn’t the apocalypse but a city gripped by a drug-fueled inferno, where drug lords control the narcotics trade, assassins kill for supply, and police navigate conspiracies.
