‘The Escaping Man’ (绑架毛乎乎) is a 2025 Chinese crime drama directed by Wang Yichun.

The film revolves around a jealous nanny and her accomplice who plot to kidnap her employer’s son, but their plan spirals into chaotic, life-or-death consequences. The cast includes Jiang Wu, Yan Ni, Chloe Maayan, Eric Zhang, and Ren Long.

Synopsis: A highly intelligent nanny, envious of her elite employer, conspires with another to kidnap the employer’s “simple-minded” son in a carefully planned scheme. But unexpected mishaps unravel the plot into chaos, with everyone teetering on the brink of collapse in a brutal struggle.
