‘The Last Man: First Love’ (映画ラストマン FIRST LOVE) is a 2025 Japanese crime-mystery thriller directed by Shunichi Hirano.
The film, which is a continuation of the 2023 TV series ‘The Last Man: The Blind Profiler’, follows a blind FBI agent and a Japanese detective who reunite to protect a woman and expose a global conspiracy. The cast includes Masaharu Fukuyama, Yo Oizumi, Ren Nagase, Mio Imada, and Rowoon.
Synopsis: Blind FBI special agent Hiromi Minami (Masaharu Fukuyama), known as “The Last Man” for his unmatched ability to close any case, comes to Japan for an exchange program with the Tokyo Metropolitan Police. Partnered with detective Shintaro Godo (Yo Oizumi), the two become an unstoppable duo, solving difficult cases until they uncover the shocking truth that they are brothers. After Minami returns to the U.S., two years later he reunites with Godo in Hokkaido to protect his first love, who is being pursued by a mysterious organisation. Joined by the FBI, CIA, and local police, the pair face a global conspiracy that threatens the world. [© Far East Films]
