‘The Lines That Define Me’ (線は、僕を描く) is a 2022 Japanese drama directed by Norihiro Koizumi.

Based on the novel ‘Sen wa, Boku o Egaku’ by Hiromasa Togami, the film revolves around a young man who loses his parents and finds comfort in the art of ink wash painting. The cast includes Ryusei Yokohama, Kaya Kiyohara, Kanata Hosoda, Yuumi Kawai, Kenichi Yajima, and Tomokazu Miura.

Synopsis: Sousuke Aoyama (Ryusei Yokohama) is a college student who loses his parents in an accident and is struggling to get past his sadness. While working his part-time job at an exhibition gallery, he sees suibokuga (ink wash) paintings and becomes fascinated by the style.
