Trailer: ‘The Old Woman With The Knife’

‘The Old Woman With The Knife’ (파과) is a 2025 South Korean action thriller co-written and directed by Min Kyu-Dong.

Based on the novel ‘Pagwa’ by Ku Byung-Mo, the film follows a legendary assassin in her 60s who is partnered with a young hitman with a hidden connection to her past. The cast includes Lee Hye-Young, Kim Sung-Cheol, Yeon Woo-Jin, Kim Moo-Yul, and Shin Shi-Ah.

Synopsis: Hornclaw, a seasoned assassin in her sixties, faces upheaval when Bullfight, a skilled young hitman, seeks to partner with her. Unaware of his true identity, she fails to recognize their past connection. As tensions rise, their relationship spirals into a deadly confrontation fueled by vengeance and survival.

‘The Old Woman With The Knife’ opens across South Korea on April 30, 2025.
