‘To Love Again’ (再团圆) is a 2025 Chinese drama written and directed by Gao Linyang.

The film centres on an elderly couple whose late-life peace is unsettled by an unconventional burial request that exposes a long-hidden secret. The cast includes Li Xuejian, Song Xiaoying, Bi Yanjun, Liao Xueqiu, and Liang Jing.

Synopsis: After losing their spouses earlier in life, Li Zhenhua and Nie Suzhen come together in later years to form a quiet, pragmatic marriage. When the grave of Li’s first wife, Fengxian, in rural Shanxi is threatened with demolition, Li proposes an unsettling arrangement: that he be laid to rest one day alongside both his deceased first wife and his current partner. The proposal fractures the couple’s hard-won domestic calm and brings to light a long-suppressed mystery rooted in their shared past, compelling both to confront unresolved emotions, memory, and the meaning of family at the end of life. [© Far East Films]
