Trailer: ‘Warrior King’

‘Warrior King’ (雪域少年) is a 2023 Chinese animated fantasy adventure directed by Lu Qi.

The film revolves around a young man trained to fight demons who sets out on a journey to find medicine for his sick mother. No details on the voice cast are available at this time.

Synopsis: During a time of evil forces, young Jue Ru and his mother are forced to leave their hometown after they are framed by the tribal leader. As they drift towards the lower reaches of the Yellow River, they discover a new tribe where everyone works together to resist the invasion of the demons. There they also meet the Lotus Master who teaches Jue Ru how to subdue the demons and voodoo magic. As the years pass and Jue Ru grows up, his mother begins to get sick so Jue Ru goes out to look for medicine. On the way, he meets his childhood sweetheart Zhu Mu and he helps her escape from near death. She tells him that his hometown is experiencing a catastrophic disaster so the pair head off together to locate the medicine and hopefully help Jue Ru’s original tribe. [© Far East Films]
